Things You Don't Want to See or Hear From Me
I do not claim to be marvelous or wonderful. There isn't much I say or do that is profound. I am a woman of small stature, of small voice, too many words, and strange interests no one cares about.

I'm an environmentalist. I'm a an undergraduate in fisheries and wildlife with an interest in art hoping to make a difference in this world.

I draw things. I love my OCs. I also really like Transformers, so be prepared for robots.

YELLOWSTONE ANIMALS FLEEING PARK. SUPERVOLCANO ERUPTION IMMINENT?
"At Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, there is a mass animal exodus underway. Miles of buffalo can be seen running frantically from the Northwest end of the park. They are even running down roads. Elk are also evacuating at an astounding rate. Smaller animals such as rabbits and squirrels are also fleeing Yellowstone. According to one expert, Thomas Lupshu, the only possible explanation is that the seismic activity in Yellowstone which has been increasing over the past month could mean that an eruption is on the way. "

I’m pretty scared right now

Everyone calm your tits Yellowstone isn’t about to erupt anytime soon.
"Earthquakes and other seismic activity are also common in the park. The recent earthquake was the largest in more than 30 years, Nash said, but that shouldn’t be interpreted as a sign that the volcano will erupt.
"A 4.8 earthquake all by itself … in terms of geology and geologic time is not a significant action," Nash said. "Yellowstone is a very seismically active location."
It’s also heavily studied and monitored by geologists and other scientists.
"This is one of the most highly scientifically monitored locations on earth," Nash said.
If Yellowstone’s super volcano were about to blow, scientists would likely know well ahead of time through their seismic monitoring-USA Today (source) About the buffalo and elk—it’s Spring, and animals are always on the move this time of year so it’s not uncommon to see them running alongside roads or leaping over fences. Also the “expert” that they’re taking the word of is noted as a survivalist youtube blogger who vouches that everyone needs to be prepared for the oncoming downfall of society. I’d trust this guy to know what to do if you ever got yourself lost in the middle of nowhere and needed to survive, not about the tectonic activity of Yellowstone that has been monitored extensively for decades. (his channel here) This rumor is ridiculous.

Interning in June!!!

I just got the schedule from Tracy for my internship I’m so happy oh my God I was so worried oh my Goooooddddddddddd

I’m going to be working at the Endangered Wolf Center in Eureka, Missouri as an Animal Keeper throughout June, where I’ll be giving care to animals aimed for reintroduction into the wild( Red and Mexican Grey Wolves), conducting behavioral monitoring/research, and interacting with the public about predator significance and awareness.

In addition to the introductory species, I’ll be giving care to resident animals that are kept at the facilities for educational purposes, and will learn the various methods that are enlisted to train these animals for ease of treatment in a captive setting. (African Painted Dogs, Maned Wolves, Swift Foxes.)

You can learn more about the center at these links:
—> Endangered Wolf Center
—> Make a Donation
—> Animal Webcams

If you can I’d really urge you to come to the center to visit, and we have a lot of cool special events you can attend as well, like the Campfire Howls. Let me tell you there’s nothing that compares to getting a pack of wolves to howl with you on a Summer’s night in the middle of a forest. It’s what made me want to work at this place :)

COME VISIT ME OKAY I WILL GIVE YOU HUGS AND KISSES AND FOOD FOR COMING TO SEE THE WOLVES.

6thclone said: do you drink alot Meesh? ;;;

I actually don’t drink that often. Usually with friends, special occasions, or one after a long day.

Booze is too expensive for me to drink on a regular basis, but I won’t deny there are some nights when it’s really tempting because I know it will knock me out—but I don’t really like the consequences alcohol is known to bring about, so even if the temptation is there, it usually isn’t acted upon.

Cuddles, naps, tea, and showers are preferred, and way better for my health : )
